The company has been growing by leaps and bounds on the back of the dedicated and loyal workforce thats highly skilled and experienced and can go all out to deliver excellence through innovation. Showing a genuine growth of hundred percent year on year this brain child of Shamit has been striding towards excellence since its inception in 2000.

It was the quality of being unreasonable that made Shamit to think beyond the safer and set boundaries and following the footprints of his ancestors. Instead of staying in the comfort zone and following the family business (of flour mills) Shamit wanted to carve his own niche in the global marketplace by doing something that was driven by innovation. While still pursuing graduation from St. Xavier College, Shamit had made up his mind to step in to entrepreneurship but with a difference. His yearning towards innovation resulted in Pharos Infotech in 1994. Pharos was the first dot com to introduce the Bulletin Board Service (BBS) with email in India much before the VSNL could launch its internet services.

Craving for excellence through innovation, Shamit Khemka came up with his second ground breaking venture Sampatti.com in 1998. Sampatti.com was the first ever website in India that was dedicated to the real estate industry. Indian real estate investors welcomed the innovative directory and database management system of Sampatti.com.

Synapse India (launched in 2000) is the most recent venture of Shamit. The company has achieved the reputed CMMI level-3 accreditation along with Microsoft Gold partnership and NASSCOM and FICCI certifications hallmark of the quality of services offered. Its the quality of being unreasonable thats helped Shamit reach on top at such a young age.
